Winnar Nsangu

Born in Kinshasa, DRC, on February 27, 1993, Winnart Nsangu is an
accomplished visual artist who has created a unique artistic
identity by blending paint with embers or charcoal.
His work questions our relationship to the world and explores our
African cultural identity. His canvases, inspired by his respective
societies, are a collection of thousands of poems addressing diverse
subjects.
His professional career is marked by numerous exhibitions in
France, Norway, Ivory Coast, Belgium, and at the National Museum
of the DRC.
As the founder of the Kipelo collective, Winnart also helps mentor
young artists by giving them opportunities to express their
creativity.
