Stephen Njenga

Kenyan artist Stephen Njenga developed a keen interest in art early in his life and pursued it as a career after joining creative Art Center to study for a diploma in fine art. By the time he graduated Njenga had already had two exhibitions. He had a show at Nairobi city Hall followed by another at sarit Center.

After college Stephen Njenga worked as a freelance artist and apprenticed in interior design. he painted murals and outdoor advertisements for independent contractors, thereby sharpening his skill and gathering alot of ideas in his travels across the country. He taught art and design and later became a full time artist.

Stephen Njenga has developed a unique style of painting, composing interlocking shapes from nature with contrasting colors, textures and form. Njenga works in oils, acrylics, water colors and mixed media.

Stephen Njenga has exhibited his work all over East Africa, Europe and USA.
