Meya Kanga

Pierrot Meya is a Congolese visual artist born in 1998, and a graduate at the Fine Art Academy in Kinshasa, DRC.
His desire to express myself through art has been since childhood. Inspired by daily life struggles, human traditions, emotions, hidden strengths and their relationship with the world, Meya uses hisunique technic and symbolic realism style, applying oil and acrylic paints, with deep colours and human forms to convey his strong emotions, points of view, his perspectives and concepts on the beauty and richness existing in pain. His art pieces are very admirable and widely collected.
