Lima Mugalu

Lima Mugalu was born in 1985 in Kampala Uganda. She is a self taught artist who started reading art books before finally picking up a brush herself. She mixes fashion and colour in her paintings, and creates texture by adding jewelry and swatches of fabric to create a layered style. Since 2013 Lima has participated in a number of group exhibitions in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Kenya, USA and Belgium.
