Bezalel Ngabo

Bezalel Ngabo is an established Contemporary African Artist from DRC who resides in Nairobi, kenya.  Bezalel Ngabo started making pencil sketches while he was the age of seven. When he came of age his parents enrolled him at art school. He emerged among the top students of his class and his creations at school were admired by all.

Bezalel Ngabo started his art career while at the school of arts. He has been painting since then. His work has tremendously evolved through the years and one can clearly see the trend. The touch is finer and bolder. The textures are more textured. Every piece by Ngabo tells a story or has a teaching. He never repeats his work. All his creations are totally unique.

Bezalel draws a lot of inspiration also from the Bible, being a christian himself. He strives to bring the teachings of the Bible into his paintings. Apart from that Bezalel Ngabo also paintings his every day encounters with people, his life experiences, the beauty of nature and what happens in our day to day life, in the society and in politics. Bezalel Ngabo has his work widely collected around the world and exhibits both locally and internationally.
